and we operate the \u201cKushikatsu Tanaka\u201d izakaya (Japanese-style pub) brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, we have 43 directly managed stores and 71 franchise stores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seven years have passed since we launched the \u201cKushikatsu Tanaka\u201d brand, and we now cover a wide range of areas from residential neighborhoods to the Tokyo metropolitan area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the future, we plan to expand into suburban areas, with a goal of reaching 1,000 stores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What made you start considering the implementation of GulfNet\u2019s services?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Sakamoto: At the time, as the number of stores increased, it became more difficult to manage cash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We were struggling with issues such as theft, and that\u2019s when we came across GulfNet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How did you come to know about the service?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As a former accountant, I was actually already familiar with the cash deposit machine service because one of my old clients used it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, when we started thinking about it for our company, our bank introduced some options, but we ended up finding GulfNet through a simple online search and just decided to reach out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What were your selection criteria when evaluating the service?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Sakamoto: There were three main points: cost, quality of sales support and service flexibility, and the ease of obtaining data after inserting money into the cash deposit machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We wanted to simplify our operations, and since GulfNet sends us deposit data daily, it\u2019s easy to check whether deposits were made and whether there are any discrepancies in the balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before we grew to 25 stores, employees were responsible for deposits, but that involved both risks and time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So we also valued the improvements in those aspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What ultimately finalized your decision to select GulfNet\u2019s system?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Teramoto: We had several requirements, such as \u201creducing administrative work at stores\u201d and \u201canalyzing the data from POS systems more effectively.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since we were trying to solve these issues anyway, we thought, \u201cWhy not take it even further and accomplish things that other food service companies haven\u2019t managed yet?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why did you choose GulfNet\u2019s system?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Sakamoto: Because they were responsive to our diverse needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other companies and banks often said, \u201cWe can\u2019t handle that,\u201d or \u201cWe don\u2019t have a solution for that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For instance, with banks, we were required to purchase additional equipment or contract new internet lines for data communication with the deposit machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, there were limitations on the times and days when cash collection was possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In contrast, GulfNet negotiated with the security company on our behalf, and no extra network contract was needed for data transmission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even when some existing store facilities couldn\u2019t accommodate the system, they helped us find custom solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their support in exploring the best path with us was something we really appreciated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Were there any issues during implementation?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Sakamoto: Right after implementation, there was a bug where the actual deposited amount and the data didn\u2019t match, but they quickly fixed it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, during installation, we found that the router was located far from the deposit machine, and additional wiring was necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GulfNet even handled coordination with the wiring contractors, which was very helpful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What effects did the service implementation have?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The system significantly improved our operational efficiency by boosting security and reducing labor hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our staff immediately felt a sense of relief, knowing that the environment no longer permitted internal fraud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shortly after implementation, we even had an external theft incident at one store, but the cash inside the deposit machine was untouched, which greatly minimized the damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plus, we realized immediate labor cost savings by eliminating the need for staff to leave the store to make bank deposits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before implementation, our headquarters used to spend two hours a day checking each store\u2019s deposit status, since every store had its own account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the implementation, that time was significantly reduced, and we no longer needed to open separate bank accounts per store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The issues that existed between the head office and store operations were greatly reduced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Now that you\u2019ve been working with GulfNet, could you share what you particularly appreciated?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Sakamoto: GulfNet stands out for its flexibility and robust ability to deliver strategic proposals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With other providers, it\u2019s often hard to reach the sales reps when you call, but GulfNet assigns a dedicated sales representative, so they respond promptly when issues arise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We really appreciate that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do you have any requests for GulfNet?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Sakamoto:
