Industry<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">First, could you briefly introduce your company?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We are a wholly owned subsidiary of JR East and operate approximately 450 stores, mainly offering food and beverage services and retail such as bento boxes within station premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also provide services like onboard sales on Shinkansen trains and operate ekiben (station bento) factories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What led you to implement GulfNet\u2019s system?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the nature of our business, it is essential to manage part-time staff at each store effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the time, we were using magnetic cards for Time and Attendance Management, but there were issues such as impersonation by part-time employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of our employees happened to see fingerprint-based Time and Attendance Management being used at an izakaya (Japanese-style pub), which triggered a full-scale consideration of adopting biometric authentication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">You must have considered several other systems. What made you choose GulfNet\u2019s system?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, timing was a factor, but we focused on how much we could reduce costs while maintaining the same level of functionality as our existing system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What ultimately made the difference was GulfNet\u2019s flexibility and responsiveness\u2014something major vendors couldn\u2019t offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What was your impression after actually implementing GulfNet\u2019s system?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We weren\u2019t sure who to approach at first, so we checked some websites and contacted multiple companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two key features we were looking for were: \u201cpreventing impersonation through fingerprint-based management\u201d and \u201csystemizing shift and work position confirmations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GulfNet\u2019s proposal met all of these needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, they already had a proven track record in biometric authentication, which gave us the confidence to proceed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">You\u2019re also using the sales management system\u2014can you share what led to its implementation?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Originally, we used an in-house developed system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When considering a replacement, we planned to switch to a packaged system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We received proposals from several companies, but ultimately chose GulfNet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While we considered functions and pricing, the decisive factor was that we could integrate both the Time and Attendance Management and sales management into one unified system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Finally, what are your expectations for GulfNet going forward?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We deeply value the collaborative mindset that has enabled us to successfully tackle complex management issues together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We hope GulfNet will continue to offer new proposals, sharing valuable case studies, industry expertise, and information on the latest systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We look forward to advancing our collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That concludes the interview.
